Recent events have highlighted these risks, including a major outage affecting global cloud computing and recent cyber-attacks that halted manufacturing at major factories and supply chains across multiple companies.

A previous senior officer of the UK's air and space warfare centre will provide findings next month on how the state-backed organization can most effectively assist the scale of government AI ambitions in defense, national security and intelligence.

Organizational Refocusing

The organization's leader, a previous Amazon UK leader, confirmed that multiple research initiatives at the organization with 440 employees have been closed, transferred out or completed because they do not align with the fresh focus.
