White House Denounces 'Democratic Hoax' as Additional Jeffrey Epstein Photographs Disclosed

House Democrats have released a additional set of what they described as "troubling" pictures from the property of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The first release of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been previously circulated—along with another 70 unveiled later on Friday represent a tiny fraction of the approximately 100,000 images handed over to the House oversight committee, which is looking into the actions and ties of Epstein.

The disgraced financier was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York prison cell in 2019 after being charged with sex-trafficking charges.

High-Profile Individuals in the Photos

Featured among the prominent personalities seen in the opening set are well-known figures featuring movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin empire.

Donald Trump is featured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is photographed with six women, whose faces are redacted.

White House Reaction

The White House reacted to the release in a official comment, charging Democrats of purposefully "choosing" the photographs for political purposes and to "try and create a false narrative."

"That partisan falsehood against President Trump has been consistently disproven," a White House spokesperson remarked, maintaining that "this presidency has accomplished more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have ever done by repeatedly calling for transparency, releasing reams of records, and urging more inquiries into Epstein's Democrat friends."

Democratic Lawmaker Statement

The photographs were released devoid of explanation, but as stated by a California Democrat and senior member of the investigative panel, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's links with the rich and powerful.

"The moment has come to end this White House cover-up and deliver justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he said in a release.

The release of these materials coincides with the oversight committee pressing on with its inquiry into the Epstein case.
